On the heels of last month’s announcement of Louis Poulsen’s new CEO for its U.S. and Canada markets comes the public debut of Neo Architectural Lighting as the exclusive distributor of the company’s commercial lighting products in North America. Neo CEO Kent Pedersen and COO Amir Bagherlee co-founded the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.–based company last fall and are “actively expanding their portfolio of architectural lighting brands to include a variety of manufacturers and new companies emerging into the North American markets,” according to the company press release.
Pedersen is the immediate past president and CEO of Louis Poulsen, where he spent three decades helping to introduce the Denmark, Copenhagen–headquartered company’s renowned lighting products in projects of all scales, including those at the University of Chicago and the Morrell Wine Bar and Café in Rockefeller Center, New York. Bagherlee is a former vice president at Louis Poulsen who helped oversee technical development in the North America market for nine years.
