LightSPEC West opens in Anaheim

April 17, 2024
The Southern California lighting market gathers at the Anaheim Convention Center to see the latest architectural lighting products.

LightSPEC West, a regional architectural show, presents a unique, in-person experience for those involved in the design, production, distribution, specification and application of solid-state lighting products and systems in commercial, institutional and residential building types. The exhibition and conference will be held April 17-18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim.

More than 1,700 lighting professionals have registered for the live event to partake in the architectural lighting exhibits and educational program. “The exhibits will showcase lighting manufacturers covering all the major aspects of lighting. With Endeavor Business Media’s reach into the lighting and associated markets, we are attracting new and different attendees, not the same attendees you will see at private events or other events in Southern California.  We are the only show in Southern California that has a mix of agency participation and non-agency affiliated manufacturers,” said Janice Oliva, vice president and group publisher of the LightSPEC and LEDs Magazine.

Educational sessions and product demonstrations will offer opportunities to gain insights and earn CEUs from AIA in a learning theater adjacent to the exhibit floor. Programming themes include artificial intelligence and its use in the lighting industry, lighting and wellness, energy efficiency and commissioning, and lighting controls for smart spaces.

Sponsoring agencies include Kore LIGHT, a 2024 premier sponsoring agency, and Forman & Associates.

   8 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Registration open

11:30 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. — Education sessions and vendor demos in the presentation theater
